What do we bring with us?
This year’s EXPO focussed on ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues, sustainable redevelopment, attractive business models and markets emerging from their niches, new land use concepts and the impact of current interest rate and money market developments on financing – where known.
What remains with us, however, is a modest but nevertheless positive spirit of optimism, despite or perhaps because of the prevailing mood of crisis in the run-up to the event.
The industry is once again focussing on the essentials, namely on putting its words into action and ultimately creating value-adding spaces for people.
Increased efforts are once again required to conclude transactions and turn ideas into realised projects.
After all, it is the hard times that create strong people.
